In response to the tremendous reception
received by the S&P high-gloss Sunburst, there is now a complete series
of Simon & Patrick acoustic guitars all sharing the same spectacular finish.
Four new guitars now join the original
dreadnought model including; Parlor, Folk, Cutaway and Twelve-String models.
While each guitar in the series produces
a distinct sound they share a lot more in common than just their color and
finish.
Starting with handpicked solid cedar
tops, finished with genuine lacquer. Back and sides are made with a three-layer
laminate of red wild cherry, which offers excellent projection and a sound
that sit comfortably between the brightness of maple and the warmer sound
of mahogany.
Necks are made from silverleaf maple
a locally harvested wood that has a very similar density—and sound—to
mahogany, but is much less porous and can be treated to a super-smooth finish.
B-Band electronics are available as
an option on all Simon & Patrick guitars.
